Banana Chocolate Sunflower Butter Pancakes
The title may be a mouthful but so are these yummy pancakes! I like to start my mornings with a hearty breakfast and start my family on the right foot for the day with a nutrient packed meal. These pancakes are full of protein and good fat from the sunflower butter w/ flax seeds. Oh and bonus, kids LOVE them! they have no clue how good they are for them
Here’s the mix:
Start by combining the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to remove any lumps and keep the batter fluffy

Next, in the microwave heat the Sunflower Butter and Banana in a separate bowl till soft.
Mix the sunflower butter and banana together till smooth and clump free, whisk the egg and milk into the mixture and add to the dry ingredients. Heat a large skillet or flat griddle and pour on 1/4 c. batter, top with chocolate chips (tip – when I put the chocolate chips on I take a fork and push them into the batter so the choc. won’t burn when flipped!) Wait till you see bubbles and flip.
Pile them on a plate and serve with warm REAL Maple Syrup!
These fluffy protein packed pancakes will keep you full for hours and your families bellies very happy, hope you enjoy!
